Project management to supply drinking water from the Sanaga river to the city of Yaoundé and its surroundings

Water resources, DW and WW treatment

To reduce the drinking water production deficit in the city and surroundings of Yaounde, the Cameroonian government launched a project to supply drinking water from the Sanaga River. The principal infrastructures of this project will be designed to produce 300,000 m³ of water per day, expandable to 400,000 m³ per day

This project is financed by the Exim Bank of China; the design and construction were commissioned to the SINOMACH company.

Our solution

Since September of 2015 Seureca is in charge of the project management on behalf of the Cameroonian government, namely:

To support the government in the implementation of one of the largest on-going drinking water projects in Africa, Seureca has set up a multidisciplinary and multicultural team aimed to:

  • ensure that the works are executed in compliance with current professional standards;
