22-25 February, Seureca participates in the 18th African Water Association International Conference

This biennial convention will be held in Nairobi, Kenya, where, for over 30 years the Seureca teams design water management solutions. Our clients, partners, and associates are invited to this occasion, a key event in development for the African continent. The theme this year is "Sustainable Access to Water and Sanitation in Africa".

Invitation Seureca - AFWA 2016 (1.03 MB)
For these international conferences, the primary objective of the African Water Association (AfWA) is to present and investigate actual experiences and examples of service provision in developing countries. This event therefore focuses explicitly on solutions rather than making diagnoses concerning the challenges and problems in this sector.
The AfWA is an autonomous and non‑profit organization which covers all aspects of the water cycle. Its mission is to serve as a continental network for professionals in water and to promote standards and best practices in sustainable water management and water treatment. The association, formerly known by the name African Union of Water Distributors, is a professional association of institutions, businesses, and companies working in the drinking water, wastewater, and environment sectors in Africa.

Since its creation in 1980, the principle mission of the AfWA is to strengthen the professional capacities of members to meet its long‑term vision of accessibility to drinking water for all Africans. The AfWA has over 100 entity members in more than 40 African countries. Its headquarters is situated in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
